This past week was ACTION PACKED with curling coverage from the Prairies to The Rock.

Social media was flooded with curling chatter, from the return of a past provincial champ in Saskatchewan to the Battle for the Buffalo in Manitoba to returning vets in Ontario, Northern Ontario, Nova Scotia and PEI.

Not to mention the Brier field added a few names to the bingo card.

Curling fans were streaming left, right and centre to watch as much action as possible and the athletes competing did not disappoint.

Completing the Scotties field and adding to the Brier

From the shot heard around the rings to domination station, last weekend may have only had two provincial championships but both brought plenty of drama.

Which leads to a common question this time of year: How are you holding up rock heads?

Staying hydrated? Still full of energy? Still dancing the night away in celebration of provincial and territorial championship victories?

Well I hope you have all learned the number one rule of party raging: Pace Yourselves!!

The Playdown Party of 2023 is bringing back vintage coverage, circa 2020, and we are just warming up! 

The drinks are still pouring, the celly's are still coming and the Scotties and Brier are starting to fill their dance cards.

Canadian Open and playdown results shake up the mountain

Camrose, Alberta welcomed in 2023 with a few historic moments...or should we say #HERstory was made in Camrose?

The third major of the curling season, the Co-op Canadian Open, tossed its final rock on Sunday when Japan's Team Fujisawa removed the monkey off their #GSOC backs and won their first slam title.

Of course #HIStory was made a few hours earlier when the newly formed Team Bottcher collected their first slam together.

Camrose brought in a sweeping change atop the podium but the more things change, the more they stay the same?
